We own stakes in the following projects:
- Fort Hills (24.58%).
- Surmont (50%).

Both of these projects are located in the Alberta region.

We are active in Canada through our affiliate SunPower (55.66%), which markets solar panels in the country via a distributor.

We also operate through our affiliate Total Eren, in which we own a 33.86% indirect interest, as part of the development of a wind power project in British Columbia with First Nations.

Lastly, through our wholly owned affiliate Saft, the world leader in the design and production of high-tech batteries for industry, we are developing and installing an energy storage battery system that can work in extreme temperatures in hybrid microgrids. The goal is to supply energy to a community located around 80 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle.

In Canada, we market polymers and styrenes produced primarily in our U.S. plants.

In specialty chemicals, we are active in the country through our wholly owned affiliate Hutchinson, the leader in elastomers processing specialized in sealing, fluids management, anti-vibration systems, and materials and structures (acoustic and thermal insulation). Hutchinson has a production unit in Montreal specializing in composite materials and thermoplastics for the aerospace and public transportation industries.
