Brazil, a Total host country for more than 30 years, is pivotal to the growth of our Group and the development of all of our activities. In addition to exploration and production, we operate in several other industrial and commercial sectors.
We also lead community outreach initiatives in the country, with a focus on access to energy, education and sports.

We operate the following fields, currently in production:

- The ultra-deepwater (2,400 meters) Xerelete field (70%) on Block BC-2, 250 kilometers off the coast of Rio de Janeiro.
- Lapa (35%), located on Block BM-S-9A, 300 kilometers off the coast.

We hold interests in the following fields:

- The ultra-deepwater (2,000 meters) Libra field (20%), currently in production, located in the very prolific Santos Basin, 170 kilometers off the coast of Rio de Janeiro.
- The ultra-deepwater (2,230 meters) Iara field (22.5%), currently under exploration, located in the Santos Basin, 230 kilometers off the coast of Rio de Janeiro.
- Gato do Mato (20%), currently under exploration, located in the Santos Basin.
- The deepwater (1,300-1,400 meters) Itaipu field (20%), currently under exploration, located in the Campos Basin.
- The deepwater (1,300-1,400 meters) Wahoo field (20%), currently under exploration, located in the Campos Basin.

We also have 17 exploration licenses for blocks located in the Foz do Amazonas, Barreirinhas, Ceará, Espirito Santo and Pelotas basins.

We supply the Brazilian market with production from Bolivia’s San Alberto, San Antonio and Itaú Bloque XX fields, in which we hold a 15% interest. We hold a 33.33% stake in Bolivia to Brazil Pipeline Project Holding Ltda. (BBPP Holding Ltda.), which owns 29% of the share capital of TBG, the company that owns and operates the Brazilian section of the gas pipeline linking Bolivia and Brazil.

We are also a partner of the Transportadora Sul Brasileira de Gas (TSB) gas pipeline project, which supplies Argentine gas to the Uruguaiana thermal power plant and Bolivian gas to the Copesul petrochemical complex.

Lastly, we sell spot liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes sourced from our production in Nigeria and Norway.

We produce and market petroleum products and related services, including:

We also have a lubricant blending plant in Pindamonhangaba.

We operate in Brazil through our affiliate Total Eren, in which we hold a 23% indirect interest. Total Eren operates a solar power plant with a capacity of 25 megawatts-peak, BJL 11 Solar, located in Bahia state.

As part of our petrochemicals business, we use an agent in Brazil and third-party agents based in the United States to market polyethylene, polypropylene and polystyrene. We also market petrochemicals sourced from our Qatari joint venture.

In specialty chemicals, our affiliate Hutchinson has three plants specialized in developing and manufacturing precision sealing, anti-vibration, body sealing, fluid transfer and belt drive systems for the automotive, industry and home appliance sectors.
