We sell solar panels to consumers and businesses through our affiliate SunPower (55.66%).

Through our affiliate Lampiris (100%, operator), we operate a 140-megawatt hydropower plant and own a 2-megawatt onshore wind turbine.

Lastly, via our wholly owned affiliate Direct Énergie, we operate a 405-megawatt combined cycle gas power plant.

We own (100%) one of Europe’s most efficient refineries in Antwerp. Its proximity to the Vlissingen refinery (55%) in the Netherlands, along with the Antwerp and Feluy petrochemical facilities, makes it an integrated complex, unlocking synergies by swapping feedstock, power and other products.

The Antwerp complex refines crude oil into gasoline, diesel, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and kerosene. It has 35 units that produce low-sulfur fuels, biofuels and feedstock (naphtha, butane, aromatics, propylene) for petrochemicals manufacturing. It is also equipped with units for converting heavy fuel oil into low-sulfur heating oil and diesel. Its petrochemical units produce ethylene.

We also operate the Feluy facility south of Brussels, which produces polymers. At this site, our Refining & Chemicals business segment carries out R&D work focused on polymers and catalysts for base chemical processes.

Lastly, we market petrochemicals, some of which are sourced from our Qatari and South Korean joint ventures.

In specialty chemicals, our wholly owned affiliate Hutchinson, the leader in elastomers processing specialized in sealing, fluids management, anti-vibration systems, and materials and structures (acoustic and thermal insulation), markets products in the country.

We supply nearly 410,000 residential and professional sites with natural gas and more than 630,000 sites with low carbon electricity in the country.

We are also a producer of low-gas electricity through our combined cycle gas plant in the country.

In addition, we have 2 billion cubic meters per year of regasification capacity at the Zeebrugge regasification terminal.
