By investing in renewables, we’re directly helping to supply energy that contains less carbon, there by helping protect the planet from climate change.

Everyone needs to make an effort, we need to make it easy for absolutely everyone to switch to electric vehicles. It is likely to cost people more, so the Government will need to help by subsiding the purchase price. And it is up to us to install charge points.

We currently have a fossil-based society […] As well as having pledged to supply people with the energy they need today, that’s our current mission, we are also investing in the energy of tomorrow by making a strong commitment to focus on renewable energy, and electricity.

We’ve decided to continue producing oil and gas to support continued consumer demand. At the same time, however, we’re investing heavily in renewables [...] Renewables now represents over one-third of our investments.

By asking an oil-producing country to make progress on climate change is a way of making it face its responsibilities.

We see electricity as the energy of the 21^st century, what will enable us to tackle climate change and decarbonize the energy mix.

It's not about being a sceptic or non-sceptic, it’s about taking action.
