We operate offshore Block 11B/12B with a 45% interest. Located 175 kilometers off the coast of South Africa in water depths ranging from 200 to 1,800 meters, the block covers an area of about 19,000 square kilometers.

We also operate (100%) the South Outeniqua Block, located in water depths of 250 to 4,000 meters.

Through our SunPower affiliate (55.66%), we have long been active in South Africa, developing solar projects.

Since 2016, our Prieska solar power plant (installed capacity of 75 megawatt-peak), located in the Northern Cape, has been supplying electricity to the equivalent of 70,000 households.

We are an active participant in the home solar system rural electrification program alongside Kukhanya Energy Services (KES). So far, more than 30,000 rural, off-grid households have been supplied with kits.

Our affiliate Saft (100%) has a multi-year partnership agreement with South African power utility Eskom. Saft also supplies switchgear applications to local authorities and mining customers.

We have a 36.36% interest in the Natref refinery in Sasolburg.

We market petrochemicals in South Africa, some of which are sourced from our joint venture in South Korea.

We also operate in the specialty chemicals market through our affiliate Hutchinson, the leader in elastomers processing specialized in sealing, fluids management, anti-vibration systems, and materials and structures (acoustic and thermal insulation).
 

We have a network of around 540 service stations across the country, where we retail our fuel and offer related services.

We also market: 
- Lubricants.
- Jet fuel.
- Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

Our logistics footprint includes 18 depots, eight of which are fully owned.
