March 28, 2011: Total’s Board of Directors met on March 25, 2011 under the chairmanship of Christophe de Margerie, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
The Board examined requests to add proposed resolutions to the agenda for the Annual Meeting of Shareholders to be held on May 13, 2011. The resolutions considered were received after the publication of the Notice of Meeting on February 25, 2011.
The Board of Directors decided to add a proposed resolution to the agenda, submitted by Total’s Central Works Council, concerning a change to the Company’s articles of incorporation.
