Total University organizes the conference« Energy & Climate » which will take place on Friday, November 21st 2014 from 8.30am to 6.50pm. This outstanding day will be broadcasted in live streaming on BFM Business website.
This event moderated by Alex Taylor (Euronews, France Inter) and Nathalie Croisé (BFM Business) is positioned one year before the Paris 2015 Climate conference (COP 21). It will examine the new opportunities (economic, political, societal and technological) offered by climate change and the actions implemented by governments to strengthen their capacity of resilience to cope with this major challenge.
Among our prestigious speakers, we have the honour of welcoming: Christiana Figueres (Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change), Frédéric Lenoir (French Philosopher, Sociologist, Lecturer and Writer, Doctor and research associate at School of Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences), Patrick Pouyanné (Chief Executive Officer, Total), Philippe Boisseau (President of Marketing & Services and New Energies, Member of the Executive Committee, Total) and Jérôme Schmitt (Executive Vice President Sustainable Development, Total).
Innovation, one of the critical solutions, will be at the heart of the event. In this context, Total, in partnership with BFM BUSINESS, is organizing the “Grands Prix Business Durable" (ie: « Sustainable Business Awards”) that aims at supporting innovative startups committed to better energy and sustainable growth.
