1988
Myanmar decided to call on international companies to develop its hydrocarbon resources.


1992
Total and state-owned Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE) signed production sharing contracts for offshore Blocks M5 and M6.


1995-1998
Total developed and brought on stream the Yadana gas field with partners Chevron and the Petroleum Authority of Thailand Exploration & Production (PTTEP).


2014
LCP-Badamyar project launched to extend the Yadana Production Plateau.


2015
- Contract signed for sole operation of deep offshore Block YWB.
- 40% interest acquired in deep offshore Block A6.


2016
Interest acquired in deep offshore blocks MD2 / MD4 (40%) and MD7 (50%).
