Total in Kazakhstan

We have a 16.81% interest in the North Caspian license, which encompasses the giant Kashagan field, as part of our stake in the North Caspian Sea Production Sharing Agreement (NCSPSA) consortium.
We operate the Dunga field (60%), which is located in the Mangystau Region and currently in production.

We have begun construction on two solar farms with capacities of 28 megawatts and 100 megawatts, respectively, through our affiliate Total Eren, in which we hold a 33.86% indirect interest.

We are also active in the country through our wholly owned affiliate Saft, which specializes in the design, production and marketing of high-tech batteries and battery cells for industry.

We market petrochemicals sourced from our South Korean joint venture.

In Kazakhstan, we market:
- Lubricants.
- Specialty products.
