Its corporate existence is fixed by its by-laws for 99 years beginning from 15 December 1999. TotalEnergies Capital is a direct and wholly-owned subsidiary of TotalEnergies SE.

TotalEnergies Capital acts as a financial vehicle on behalf of the TotalEnergies company by issuing debt securities and commercial papers. The development of the business of TotalEnergies Capital is largely determined by the financial requirements of the entities both in France and abroad of the Company. TotalEnergies Capital developed its short-term activities at the end of the second quarter of 2001 and its long-term activities in the first quarter of 2002.

TotalEnergies Capital has no subsidiaries.

The development of the business of TotalEnergies Capital International is largely determined by the financial requirements of the entities both in France and abroad of the Company.

TotalEnergies Capital Canada is a corporation incorporated on 9 April 2007 under the laws of Alberta. The registered and head office and principal place of business of TotalEnergies Capital Canada is located at 600 - 12220 Stony Plain Road NW, Edmonton, AB T5N 3Y4, Canada. TotalEnergies Capital Canada is a direct wholly-owned subsidiary of TotalEnergies SE.

TotalEnergies Capital Canada Ltd. was formed to access capital markets by issuing debt securities and commercial papers. The development of the business of TotalEnergies Capital Canada Ltd. is largely determined by the financial requirements of the entities both in France and abroad of the Company.
