This placid herbivorous sea mammal of the order of Sirenia is a seriously endangered species. The Abu Dhabi Environment Agency has launched a campaign to save the remaining dugongs living in the warm waters of the Gulf, with active support from Total Abu Al Bukhoosh and the Total Foundation.
