Emissions
of carbon dioxide (CO2), the
main greenhouse gas resulting
from human activities, are rising
steadily and all possible avenues
are being explored in an effort
to curb this rise. Two quite
different approaches are being
taken here by the French car-maker
Peugeot, which is financing a
huge reforestation project in
the Amazon, and by Total, which
is carrying out research into
geological storage. |
