Capture and geological storage of CO2
How to transport the CO2 ?
CO2 can be transported in a pipeline. In the United States, more than 40 million tonnes are carried by a network of pipelines more than 4,000 kilometers long.
CO2 can also be transported by truck or ship, but in this case it is carried in liquid form, at a pressure of 15 bars and a temperature of -30°C.
