The acquisition by Elf Atochem of Rohm and Haas's share in AtoHaas was completed on 4th June 1998.
This activity, which achieved a turnover of FFr 3 bn ($ 500m, 450m euros) in 1997, is to be called Atoglas.
Atoglas manufactures and markets acrylic sheets and resins under the trade names Plexiglas® on the American continent and Altuglas® and Oroglas® in the rest of the world.
