Realizing potential

Total’s teams are attempting to provide a yes answer to those questions-cum-challenges. By leveraging solid expertise in coal operations, making carbon capture and storage an R&D priority and exploring the processes that will make it possible in the future to utilize coal for power, as an alternative fuel or petrochemical base or in different forms without harming the environment, we hope to help chart the path toward clean coal.
