Protecting Human Safety and Health

We consider it our responsibility to protect our employees, and employees of companies working with us, as well as communities near our sites and our customers, from the potential effects of our operations or products. For this reason, health and safety are our top priorities at all times.

    Protecting human health is an essential component of our vision. The Health policy we issued during first semester 2010 highlights our major priorities in this area, namely: contributing to the promotion of individual and collective health, contributing to the advancement of research… in a word, exercising foresight and prevention to protect the people who work for us, those who live or work near our facilities, and those who handle or use our products.

  • Industrial Safety

    Because it is a permanent goal, improving safety is an on-going process that requires efforts on the part of all staff. With its mixed results, the year 2009 serves as a reminder of the need to reinforce our individual and collective efforts.
