Our new Biocomponents Chemistry & Processes Laboratory will meet the dual challenge of reducing our products’ environmental footprint and enhancing their performance.
Inaugurated Tuesday, April 5, based at the Solaize center, the la bis the culmination of nearly two years of work and an investment of several million euros. The research teams will take a predictive approach to innovation. In other words, they will take market requirements as their starting point and then work back to synthesize target molecules based on biocomponents.
Renewably sourced compounds will replace their petroleum-derived counterparts in products such as engine oils, lubricants and special fluids.
