We are continuing to deploy an ISO 14001* -compliant environmental management system (EMS) at each of our main production sites worldwide. We are also working to improve the quality of our environmental reporting process.
Accomplishments at end-2007
At December 31, 2007, 234 sites had been certified, including 76% — or 143 — of our environmentally sensitive sites. Our 2009 target is 100%.

External audits
We voluntarily have our statutory auditors review certain indicators** used in our environmental reporting. We obtained a “moderate level of assurance” for 2007. The level of assurance (high or moderate) is determined by the nature, timing and extent of the process applied and its findings.
Internal Environmental Risk Assessment method
The internal Environmental Risk Assessment method identifies situations that could constitute significant environmental risks.
